Watching Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday

Jason Goes to Hell was one of the most controversial Friday's made. First they tried to bring him from local legend into the mainstream of all America by having a mock news agency do a piece on him. They also tried to explain his ability to continue coming back by bring in the Book Of The Dead, and also gave him a family tree by introducing a sister, kinda like Michael had...
That aside the story was tight, fluid, and to me seemed believable in the realm of the occult and supernatural extremes.
The scene was set right out the gate with a lady FBI agent hanging out at Camp Crystal Lake to lure Jason, which works....
Then after being led into an ambush the FBI being the bad ass guys they claim to be fired away and blew the shit out of Jason...
The pieces are scattered all over the open field...
Observed by Duke the guy who knows everything about Jason and the rest of the Voorhees family...
The heart is still alive, which is the source of Jason"s power. It hypnotizes the Coroner and Jason lives once more forever hopping from doomed victim to doomed victim...
And now the killing continues...
From this stage in the movie the story follows Duke and his connection to the Voorhees family while being interviewed by a talk show host who is also dating Diana's daughter, Jason's sisters'.
Diana, who happens to be watching the program becomes panicked to learn that Jason was not killed by the FBI, and is still on the loose...
Duke introduces himself to Diana and causes her to become even more frightened. Now I found his character a bit over bearing and demanding. It was hard for me to warm up to him through the whole movie, but I guess a profit seeking bounty hunter who specializes on the undead serial killers of the whole isn't really a people person...
And of course no Friday movie would be complete without campers out in the woods having sex...
So while they are out in the woods doing their thing Jason is about to remind them why they should never believe what they hear in the news ...

This is one of the best Jason kills of all time...next to the earlier movie that it pays homage to where he slits the guy down the middle...
Never spend too much time in a poorly lit parking lot no matter where your at or who is with you...
Jason jumps into a new body as the old one begins to wear out...
From this point on the massacre just increases and the kills are intense...
They bring in the big house and the book of the dead to tie in the family and the occult which explains how Jason is able to keep coming back and why he stays near Crystal Lake...
Jason jumps again and we learn the gruesome fate of the old body...

Now in his new body he heads after his kin so he can become reborn...
The machete finally makes it to the party...
Jason is finally reborn...
Family kills family...
Jason finally goes to hell...
And this is the moment that starts countless years of fans begging for a Freddy vs Jason movie...and we finally got one...yeah...

Occult sybolism at Denver Airport

Mysterious Secrets of DIA

The Denver International Airport is shrouded in mystery, with sinister symbols and murals, that would make even a weary traveler take a second look at the visions and signs contained within the terminal. Among the many oddities that an airport visitor would encounter are the following:

  • An apocalyptic horse with glowing red eyes welcoming visitors?

  • Nightmarish murals that depict the end of time?

  • Strange words (New World Commission) and symbols embedded in the floor?

  • Gargoyles sitting in suitcases?

  • Runways shaped similar to a Nazi swastika? It seems clear that the Denver International Airport has been built for uses other than "just an airport." Whatever these "uses" are, we need to pay attention to them. Do we really want to find out their true intentions after it is too late?
Knowledge is power. Seeing is believing! See and read for yourself and come to your own conclusions.

    A Sunday of Horror Delight.

Today I watched three horror films to kill some time while waiting for True Blood and The Gates. First I watched Zombieland. I liked this movie even though there wasn't quiet enough zombies in the core of the film for me. The playland scene though was awesome.

The zombie kills that were in this movie were good kills. I appreciated the fact that they spent the real money on the special effects. The zombies were great. I thought Woody's character should have been gay, that was just me. The whole time I felt he was gay.
So after Zombieland was on Starz I flipped over to Tmax for The Thing, not the original but the 1980 version with Kurt Russell.

The Thing was a movie that scared the hell out of me as a kid and made me glad I lived in the south were it rarely snowed and all the aliens looked human or little green men. The mutation scenes were classic special fx and the story was strong. It is one of my favorite of the Sci-Fi/Horror mixes.

I still feel so sad when they kill the dogs to this day. I wish they would have tested their blood first, just to make sure. To me the best scene was the creature mutation after they tested the blood and dude started wigging out. So after I enjoyed the The Thing I flipped over to another cinemax channel and caught Jennifer's Body.
I loved Jennifer's Body! Night of the Demons is one of my favorite movies and can't wait for the remake to finally get done and released. Anyway Jennifer's Body is the best demon movie to come along in along while. The social commentary and political incorrectness of it is awesome. The kills are great and the soundtrack is awesome.
Then after I watched Jennifer's Body I done some chores and got ready for the True Blood and The Gates by popping some corn, fixin' some southern sweet tea with bourbon, and enjoyed the onslaught of blood and guts and social drama of fucked up community's and the occult. I love American Trash TV! Well that is what they call it, I call it the most awesomest shit to come out of hollywood since Sixteen Candles and Golden Girls.
so gonna finish it off with Urban Legend: Final Cut and then I am off to nightmare land!
