Check out the two latest poster for the remake of the cult classic slasher flick “Maniac”. The film stars Elijah Wood in the iconic role of the delusional schizoid serial killer Frank . Also in the cast as the object of Frank’s twisted desire is Nora Arnezeder. The new vision of “Maniac” is directed by Franck Khalfoun and the film, that manages to encompass nearly every creepy and classic atmospheric element that frames the original, can be seen on VOD June 21st along with a limited theatrical release.Just when the streets seemed safe, a serial killer with a fetish for scalps is back and on the hunt. Frank (Wood) is the withdrawn owner of a mannequin store, but his life changes when young artist Anna appears asking for his help with her new exhibition. As their friendship develops and Frank’s obsession escalates, it becomes clear that she has unleashed a long-repressed compulsion to stalk and kill.
