“Wasteland” is a zombie apocalypse film written by Tommy Draper and directed by Tom Wadlow. The film is currently seeking crowd funding for extra special effects and post-production marketing costs with the film actually being in the final stages of completion. It stars Shameer Seepersand, Jessica Messenger, Rachel Benson, Edward Nudd, Mike Rhodes, Carl Cropley, Carl Bryan and follows Scott Miller, a man carving his life out of a world torn apart by an 'infection' that has almost totally wiped out the human race. His days are spent finding water, food and avoiding the dangers that lurk outside while he waits for the return of Beth, the love of his life. “Wasteland” is the story of a man's journey as he fights to survive, to find hope, to find purpose within this new violent world. Will he find the answers he seeks as all hope seems lost and life is less than fleeting? The film is being produced by Tommy Draper Screenwriter and Triskelle Pictures in collaboration with Light Films Ltd. They hope to have the film ready for the Cannes Film Festival in May.
