“Misfits” Movie In The Works?

Probably one of the most entertaining and more creative original shows out of the U.K has been “Misfits”. Currently in the 4th season the show focuses on youths serving community service time. Normal sitch for these days but unfortunately for them and the rest of society a freak storm spawns and rains down twisted and awesome powers that turn the normal debauched antics of a consumer society into moments of hilarious mayhem. Now the word is going around that there could be a “Misfits” movie in the works. One that could see some old favorites returning to the series as well as the new and yet just as entertaining ones. I wonder if Iwan Reon will be one of those returning. He was definitely the stand out Misfit for me, he and the Lauren Socha where my fave. Now it is the psychotic Joseph Gilgun that makes the show rock! Man I hope this happens. “Misfits” is one Brit show that Americans should really be watching! Currently on LogoTV and Hulu.
Misfits creator Howard  Overman has revealed on the Panel Borders podcast that he has plans for the film and that old  characters from the E4 drama could return in the spin-off movie!
“I’ve  written the first draft of the script and we’ll see what happens,” Overman  said.“If it happens, it will involve past and present characters, I’m  not allowed to give away anything more than that.” Two characters that are in the mind of Overman are Simon and Alisha played by Iwan Rheon and Antonia Thomas. “Whether or not you’ve completely seen the  end of Simon and Alisha, if our movie has its way, is another issue,” Overman  teased.
