Netflix has released the first trailer for upcoming fantasy thriller series "The Witcher". The series' script was developed by Lauren Schmidt ("Daredevil"), based on Andrzej Sapkowski's writings and novels. It stars Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey. "The Witcher" is set to premiere December 20th.
The witcher Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
