Stefan Ruzowitsky's upcoming zombie horror "Patient Zero" has been given a August 14th release date. The film, starring Matt Smith, Natalie Dormer, and Stanley Tucci, hits VOD with a limited theatrical run coming September 14th. "Patient Zer" releases courtesy of Vertical Entertainment.
The story takes place after a super-virus has turned humankind into highly intelligent, streamlined killers. Smith portrays an asymptomatic victim who can communicate with the infected and must lead the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure.
