Severin Films has announced an awesome co-production with French outfit Metaluna: a feature-length horror anthology based on the French Theatre du Grand Guignol. Titled
The Theatre Bizarre. The 6 directors recruited for the project include Douglas Buck (
Family Portraits: A Trilogy of America, Sisters); Buddy Giovinazzo (
Combat Shock); David Gregory (
Plague Town); Karim Hussain (
La Belle Bete); Richard Stanley (
Hardware); and genre god Tom Savini. Wraparound segments will be shot in an ominous Paris theatre, to tie the project together.
