CBS Films has closed a deal for rights to Jennifer Egan’s 2006 bestseller THE KEEP (no relation to F. Paul Wilson’s book or Michael Mann’s 1983 movie).
The Hollywood Reporter posted that THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO director Niels Arden Oplev will be behind the camera for THE KEEP, which has been described as THE RING meets INCEPTION. The novel is a story within a story about two cousins with a shared secret who reunite to renovate a legendary haunted medieval castle that turns dreams and nightmares into reality.
